The following list of books have changed my thinking in a powerful, permanent way. I only recommend books I believe will do the same for you.

Antifragile is one of the most important books I have ever read. Taleb’s work touches philosophy, science, art, medicine, politics, economic and financial systems, as well as weightlifting.

I recommend anything he writes, but if you have to pick one this would be it.

Scott Adams’ book teaches you the most crucial lesson in life: how to fail and keep going. If success was a cake, then failure is the flour. Take chances, go crazy, have fun, and let Scott Adams show you how tot urn your biggest flops into fortunes. After all, he did it himself.

On the surface, The Power of Positive Thinking is a prescription of prayer and thinking happy thoughts. If you dig deeper, what you will find is a series of techniques and systems for turning thoughts into powerful, positive tools for changing your world.

Most people go through life totally unaware of how they are being influenced and who is pulling their strings. If the entire field of persuasion could be boiled down into one sentence – a sentence that determines everything you do – could you use that sentence to influence what others do?

What does it mean to engage in conspiracy? How do people strike from the shadows, silently plotting and waiting to enact a ferocious plan on an unsuspecting target?

Ryan Holiday’s book Conspiracy explores these ideas at length, shedding light on Peter Thiel’s silent take down of Gawker Media. I couldn’t put this one down.

Basic Economics is the flagship book from the godfather of conservative economics, Thomas Sowell. This epic tome is interesting, engaging, and gives deep insights into the field of economics without the use of jargon or graphs.

Basic Economics is a must-read for anyone wanting to learn about how we interact with the resources in our world.

This classic Robbins book is all about you – who are you? What do you want out of life? What stories have you created about yourself? How can you make a lasting change in your life?

Reading the book is but the first step to using the deep reservoirs of innate power within you. Pick it up on Amazon and start today.

Are we really looking at an accurate picture of reality? Or, as Donald Hoffman argues, are we looking at a pretty holographic picture nature built for us with our eyes?

A deeply intuitive argument, this book will challenge the assumption that all we see is all there is.

Humans are pretty basic. Everything we do boils down to two motivations: to avoid pain and seek pleasure. Robert Greene teaches us how easily our desire for pleasure is manipulated by others, and how we can manipulate their desires in return. A deeply dark and fascinating book.

Peter Zeihan is a geopolitical strategist, which is a fancy way of saying he tries to understand how countries interact on a grand scale. In his most notable work, he presents his thesis that America is the only political, military, and economic power capable of keeping the world together – and, at present, has no interest in doing so.

It is a mind-bending, witty read that will leave you with one question:

What does the world look like without America?

I was shocked to find this book has the street cred from a dead rapper, but Nipsey Hussle had a great taste in books. David Deida’s seminal book is one of the best treatises on how to live a spiritually and physically potent life. Every page held a deep revelation for me.
